Don't you want the day to change?
The melody to harmonize with ALL the right minds?
Engage in a more serious play that has not yet faced any decay?
Why can't humans break free of the chains of "we"
if "we" only jeopardizes their every chance to be?
Develop your inner character and
concentrate your love only on the ones
that help you to fly because why trust that which
makes us cry in our most dires times?
Is it easier to hide from the truth
than to accept the clues
and use them to embrace
a future that is anew?
I don't have the answers.
I don't think too many really do.
But I realize the light will only come
when we stop coloring our presents
with fantasy lies that make our pasts less true.
