A break.
From this short-circuited society
which only produces
egotistical clans,
self-centered masses,
ethnocentric variations of conformists.
People who think their INDIVIDUAL ACTIONS
breed no SOCIETAL CONSEQUENCES.
We're sitting back and ignoring
a genocide of unborn infants,
strayed women are
finding comfort in prostitution,
and we're well on our way to designing babies.
Tell me, please,
What the Hell are WE doing to REALITY?
My mind can't stay silent;
it seems to be the only one
that can hear the innocent hearts crying.
Confidentiality should not be able to masquerade
this whole war of death and violence.
Can people slow down and breathe?
Can we find our inner truth and finally believe
that LIFE CAN BE A DIFFERENT WAY?
Harmony can hunt its way into every human being.
Love can be caught from an epidemic of laughter.
A belly-aching laugh that begins
when we see our own absurdity,
from living a long history where acceptance
was consistently the only distance
between our coexistence.
Does music have a NEW vibration?
That can echo throughout a unified nation
where our individual creations
wind up being
our only respective differences.
