time lines

When we were born,

we had no innate ideas toward

the tendencies of the world.

With each day we spent in infancy,

we gained suspicions or

we gained security.

Progression colored our every lessons.

Our self-concept, self-awareness

was either destroyed or re-inforced.

Infants are so impressionable and

not many people turn around

TO TEACH THEM

how incredible

THEY CAN MAKE THEIR WORLD.

Time takes over and steals their innocence;

the world introduces the concept of evil

as quickly as it can.

Will a child know THEY HAVE A CHOICE

OF GOODNESS

if all they're shown is DEGRADATION?

We become children, regardless,

free to roam our
imagination as it creates exploration.

We learn that WE ARE OUR OWN.

We are separate entities from our parents

no matter how much we are them and they are us.

The days progress,

more or less,

without us even noticing them.

Before we understand the concept of time,

it has overtaken us.

Propelled us into adolescence.

These years,

we watch our every move BUT

speculate more

about other people's.

Do we know where

the outsider's identity ends

and ours begins?

Impress & digress

from the people we dreamt we would be

or

express & progress

our individualized identities?

Unlike your childhood,

you recognize

each and every day

as a blessing or as distressing.

These days;

each one pushes you a little bit older

pushes you one step closer to your future.

You hesistate because

you are afraid.

Can you cut the ties to the minds

that helped mold you this entire time?

Or should you stay,

lean on their support for as many more days?

One day or many days,

if your eyes are open to them

you see divine miracles,

EPIPHANIES

and feelings of "full".

You can become content,

realize the future becomes

the past
and

nothing bad will completely last.

To worry, to have insecurities, to be afraid;

leave those characteristics with the trapped people of society;

they don't manifest inside of a deity who is free.
