listen intently to the moment

I'm going TO LIVE
in a world where there are
NO MEMORIES
to restrain me.

No eyes I have ever met can constrain me
except the present ones in front of me
and only for as long as they are what I see.
When they're gone;
they'll take that moment away with them
and I won't be saddened cause I won't remember them.

We'll smile at one another like
WE MEAN EVERY INCH OF IT.
There would be no reason not to
because neither of us remembers how you quit.
Neither of us could deny the risk of getting intimate
because each day would be like that first time, alone, we met.

I would never have to
forgive and forget
the impressionable time in my life
that you just
got up and left.

I'd never wonder whether you took just one second to think to turn back.
No memory of mother, father, sister, brother;
individuality is the only force that would ever act on me.

Impulsivity would be my electricity.
I wouldn't count on you as you wouldn't count on me,
without memory,
the present moment is ALL we need.
This is the world I'm going to invent
until I can see and see and see
each day,
brand new,
just like a baby.

*Inspired by the book Einstein's Dreams.
Not even close to being done
but it's 3 in the morning
I just spent hours and hours doing a paper
and I have class in the morning where I have to lead the discussion.
haha whata crock of crap thats gonna be...
Anyway that book, my bowl and bed is calling...
sweet dreams.
